When I went to london last year, I bought a handbag with zombie comic panels on it. When I got home, I started to look for the comic the panels belong to. As I found out, they where from the Walking dead comics, written by Robert Kirkman. Since the summaries seemed interesting, I went to buy the first compendium.

The basic setup is not that suprising for a zombie series, it’s about a group of people whom (at least most) have met after the apocalypse, and are trying to survive.
I love zombies, but this comic does not only focuss on them, it has a good and solid storyline, with very, very believable characters. I really loved it when I found out that AMC was shooting a tv series of it.
The tv show turned out great, they where able to find good balance between the zombies and the storyline, which is always a problem with zombie films and series.

So if you are a zombie fanatic, or just interested in a horror survival series, I’d say, go for it!
